Planning fresh flower shipments from India to the UAE

The UAE is relevant to wholesale, hospitality and event-flower buying, but timing alone does not establish route feasibility. The importer and exporter should confirm MOCCAE requirements, entry inspection and the document set for the exact consignment.

01

Event and wholesale briefs

State the event or receiving date, acceptable delivery window, emirate, buyer type, product, colour mix, grade, quantity and contingency preferences. Seasonal and event demand should be planned early.

02

Release documents

MOCCAE’s agricultural-product release service includes cut flowers and describes entry inspection. Its service page lists a phytosanitary certificate, customs declaration or transport/delivery document, origin evidence in relevant cases, and packing list or invoice among the required records.

03

Heat and handover planning

Agree airport collection, inspection handling, vehicle condition, carton limits and the receiver’s storage plan. A short flight does not remove risks at ground handovers or during clearance.

04

Importer checklist

Confirm importer registration and permissions, approved entry point, broker, current pest-related declarations, delivery address, receiving hours and local transport before final booking.
