Professional buyer brief
Importers, wholesalers and floral supply-chain buyers should provide the botanical identity, variety or colour, grade, pack, quantity, intended use, EU entry point and downstream delivery requirement.
Phytosanitary detail
The European Commission states that regulated plants and living plant parts generally require a phytosanitary certificate to enter the EU. NVWA publishes additional-declaration tables, including for cut flowers, and warns that incorrect declarations can lead to refusal.
Entry and onward movement
Confirm the border-control or inspection arrangement, pre-notification, documentary checks, customs broker and delivery handover. Requirements for the EU entry country apply even when goods move onward.
Importer checklist
Provide the current commodity requirement, required declaration text, registration and pre-notification details, entry point, inspection booking, customs data, receiving window and issue-escalation contact.
